Cozumel...once more
Thus far I find Cozumel to be the best dive destination inthe Caribbean. Best in overall quality of diving , best in friendliness of people, best in value. I had the privilege of going to Cozumel in many occasions and I had a greal deal of fun on each trip. The island is also a safe place. All the unests in the Central on Northen parts of Mexico have not touch Cozumel. Concern with food and water? Cozumel produces its own fresh water from a desalinisation plant. Montezuma's revenge is for mainland vacationers. Pack couple of shorts and T-shirts, along with your SCUBA gear, and join us on this wonderful adventure.

El Cid - La Ceiba is conveniently located few minutes from San Miguel on the leeward side of the island of Cozumel. This waterfront resort offers the best there is for an enjoyable and relaxing vacation. You will appreciate the on site Dive Center, shore diving right off the hotel and a quick access to some of the best dive sites in Cozumel.

Diving in Cozumel makes for some of the best underwater adventures a diver may experience. The water is warm, clear and full of marine life. Reefs are teeming with a huge variety of fish, coral, sponges, and many more sea creatures. Large school of fish are common sights on most reefs. Crossing path with turtles, nurse sharks and eagle rays adds to the fun. The diving is effortless since all boat dives are drift dives and no swimming is required (except on the shore dives).

'Nuff said...Let's Dive.

Babieca Dive Center is my new choice of dive operation for this trip. I had the pleasure to dive with them in November 2009, and I enjoyed their professionalism and friendliness. I am looking forward to working with them again.

TRAVEL TIP

Airlines are nickel-and-diming travels more than ever. Beware of luggage charges. To avoid having to pay for excess baggage or for multiple bag, travel light. You are going on a dive vacation, not a fashion show. Diving gear can be quite heavy. Minimize the number dive accessories you take with you. For instance you do not need to bring a wreck reel or a machetee size knife. I usually travel with only one cheched bag and one carry-on bag, plus my laptop.
